Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data EZprompt (ezprompt.shop) collects, why, and how it is handled. We keep collection to the minimum needed to run the service, in line with the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and, where applicable, the GDPR.

1. What we collect

• Email address — when you sign up for a free prompt or make a purchase (used to deliver your purchases and, with consent, marketing emails).
• Purchase records — which prompts you bought, amount, and date, linked to your email.
• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
• Basic technical data — via Cloudflare (IP-level security and analytics) to keep the site online and safe.

2. What we do NOT collect

• We do not see or store what you type into ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Grok, and Poe — prompts are copied on your device and used on those platforms directly.
• We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

3. How we use your data

• To deliver purchased prompts and let you retrieve them later via your email.
• To send occasional product emails if you opted in — every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To prevent fraud and abuse (with Stripe and Cloudflare).

4. Third-party processors

We share the minimum necessary data with: Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting security/CDN). Each processes data under their own privacy policies and safeguards.

5. Data retention

Purchase records are kept for as long as needed to provide lifetime access to your prompts and to meet accounting obligations. You may request deletion of your lead/marketing data at any time.

6. Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion by emailing [email protected]. We respond within 30 days.

7. Cookies

Essential cookies keep the site working and secure (session and security via Cloudflare, and Stripe checkout).

We also run the Meta (Facebook) pixel. It tells us which of our adverts brought someone to the site and whether they went on to sign up, which is how we decide where to spend an advertising budget. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Meta the pages you viewed on this site, your IP address and browser details. It does not receive your name, email address or anything you type into a form.

You can stop it: browser tracking-protection or an ad blocker will block the pixel outright, and your Meta account settings control how Meta uses activity collected off its own apps. Blocking it does not affect anything you have bought or your ability to buy.
